| Shane doing some math problems. He is very good in math but he does very well in all his subjects. He is by far, the easiest to instruct. His mind grasps things quickly. All children learn differently. He is an excellent speller and enjoys writing. He is mastering his Latin declension endings. It looks like he will be starting Pre-Alegbra in 4th grade, which is next year. His cursive writing is nicely done. Shane is very organized and gets all his work done in about 2-3 hours. He tackles 6 subjects within these hours. It is amazing! |

Nathan drawing on the whiteboard. Nathan is doing well in grammar, math, and his writing assignments. He does not really enjoy all the writing or any writing for that matter. Here is a child that loves the library. In fact, I bet he would rather enjoy spending all day at the library. You should see all the books he checks out. He is not into reading fiction novels but thoroughly enjoys reading non fiction books. Yesterday, he checked out books about cats, plastic, warships, submarines, boats, and buildings. He loves listening to fiction novels on CD. He equates learning to knowledge of what you read in books. He does not understand why you need grammar, writing, and spelling. He is a deep thinker about everything. His tutor says she loves the subjects he talks about in class, he is not shy when it comes to oral presentation, and his handwriting is amazing. Also, Nathan has a genuine love for animals.
