The Last Week and a Half

We celebrated Nathan's 10th birthday. He really enjoyed this devil's food cake with chocolate frosting that I made for him.

This is what he spent his birthday money on. He was been wanting a camera for some time. He has been using our digital camera these last few months. He loves to take pictures of the outdoors. Who knows, maybe he will be a photographer someday....

Here is a board game we gave him.

The first fruits of our harvest.

Here is a picture of our garden. We have so much growing in it.

Carissa made this head scarf. She made a pink one for me for my birthday.

She does a very good job hand sewing.

Look at this matching apron she made to go with the scarf.

Instead of tying the apron in the back she made button holes. She did a very good job.

Here is Shane making breakfast. He is making cream of wheat. He loves to cook.

Nathan did an electronics demo for 4H.

Shane playing soccer.

Here are Nathan's ducks. The are so fun to watch. They always look at us through the french doors in the basement, when we are down there.

I call them Quackers.
