Sorry for not writing sooner but it can be hard to find the time to write. We are still busy around the house. I have finally got rid of all the boxes in the living room. I only have a few boxes left in the garage to go through.
I pray that everyone has a very special Thanksgiving. We all have something to be thankful for.
This past Sunday we went to a local church and had Thanksgiving dinner with them. The people were so nice and genuine. They really care for us. Carissa was invited to join their youth group which meets every Saturday night for bible study and an activity. We will let her go with our supervision of course. We met this couple at the church that have three girls the same ages of our three boys and they had fun playing with each other. This same couple invited us over to their house for New Year's Eve. Does anyone stay up until midnight anymore? Well, we will just have to find out how the locals celebrate. hehe.
The kids are getting excited about Christmas. This year we are going to do what Anne at Pleasant View Schoolhouse does. We are going to give our children a Christmas trip instead of presents. Each child picks a place to go in our state we live in or another state. It can not be expensive because then the whole family can not go. Shane has decided that he wants to go to a Butterfly exhibit in St. Louis for his Christmas trip. In the spring or summer we will be doing the Katy Trail with the kids, this will be Jarrett's Christmas trip since he is too young to vote where to go. The kids have a year to redeem their Christmas trip. We will try it with our family and let you know how it goes.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have a lot to be thankful for. Just the fact that we will be caught up with him in clouds is so much to be thankful for.
