More Early 90's Worship and Current Worship

Do you remember this song? I would sing this song at bedtime, while the toddlers were tucked in their beds. I still sing or hum it to Shane and Jarrett from time to time.

Do you remember this album? This is one of the first Hillsongs albums I purchased.

Here is another song from 1992. Remember the Power of Your Love?

What about this one, this one, another one, and yet another one? Yes, we really did dress like that.

Okay, have you heard about the worship band Jesus Culture? They are from Bethel Church in  Redding, CA.  Here are some songs I like:

Poetry and Verses

I enjoy reading poetry.

Another Day
Another day lies just before me Another day in which to live; Another day to meet the challenge To work and pray and love-and give!
--Alice Hansche Mortenson--

Lend a Hand
I am only one, But still I am one. I cannot do everything, But still I can do something; And because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do something that I can do.
--Edward Everett Hall--

Four Things
Four things a man must learn to do If he would make his record true: To think without confusion clearly; To love his fellowmen sincerely; To act from honest motives purely; To trust in God and Heaven securely.
--Henry Van Dyke--

Never grow a wishbone where your backbone ought to be. --Jenny Paddleford
Politeness is good nature regulated by good sense.--Henry Ward Beecher

Barefoot Days

That is when the birds go by Up the sunny…

Thank You, Lord

Philosophy is her hardest class this year and it is one of her honors classes. I did take her to Joann's Fabric store for her birthday, which was her wish. She spent some birthday money there. This girl loves to sew, knit, and crochet. I forgot to mention, she loves to shop too.

A week before she turned 17, she received her permit to drive. I still need to call our insurance to add her on. I wonder how much that is going to cost?

Yes, she dyed her hair a few weeks ago. She bought the dye at the health food store. I actually like the color but she wants it to be a deeper red.

She started taking piano lessons again, so she is improving her skills as the weeks go on. I hope she keeps it up for the next two years.
