Trying To Eat Healthy

Here are some of the books I have been reading. I feel I am back in college; while I study and doing a research.

Yes, we are eating pomegranates. Shane actually helped me with getting the fruit out. Go here for a very easy way to eat pomegranates. Jarrett and Shane kept on shoveling them in their mouths.

Here is a fresh salad I made for the family the other day.

I don't like taking vitamin tablets or capsules. I break open the capsules and put the powder in a half cup of orange juice. I do the same thing for my children. I don't like the fact that the capsules or tablets have to break down in my stomach. How long does that take? I am reading different reports about how long it takes. It doesn't matter to me, what I am doing works for our family.

Here is Jarrett enjoying a Banana Date Shake. You should try one sometime.

  • 1 1/2 cups of coconut milk (unsweetened)
  • 6-10 large dates
  • 2-3 frozen bananas
  • ice cubes
  • This will make about 4 -6 servings
