"The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, to be crucified and on the third day be raised again" ~Luke 24:7
Remember why we celebrate Easter.
Do you see the eggs in the basket? Well the kids painted these goose eggs today. A friend of mine gave the eggs to me. I read that one goose egg is equal to 4 chicken eggs. The kids had fun painting them. I actually made a small hole in the eggs and poured out the contents in a container. I plan to make an omelet from these eggs.

Shane made this little note. He wrote the words himself without asking for any help from anyone. I think it is so adorable.

Carissa picked some flowers for me and made me this card for Easter. That is so sweet of her....

Okay, I made my first lemon meringue pie today. I think it came out just right. The lemon filling is so good....I love lemons.

This is how it looked before it went into the oven.

This is how it looked when it cam out.

I made another peach pie today.

Oh, I made homemade strawberry shortcake today too. This came out very good. Well, I finally clocked out of the kitchen at 10:45pm today. What a day of making desserts for Easter.
Have a blessed Easter!
